Welcome to King's Church, Quantocks. We are a church seeking to engage with our community. We want to express God’s love in a fresh and relevant way. Having outgrown our old building we now meet every Sunday at 10.30am in Bishops Lydeard Village Hall.

We are a Christian church in the heart of our community in Somerset, worshipping in Spirit and truth, bringing hope to individuals, families and communities.

Thank you for visiting our site. Have a good look round. We hope that it will give you a flavour of what we are about. Of course the best way to find out more is to come and see for yourself. We would love to meet you, so do feel free to come along to one of our meetings or events at any time and meet our church family. You are most welcome.

We meet every Sunday at 10:30 AM in Bishops Lydeard Village Hall (for details contact – [email protected]). Our worship is informal, contemporary and includes sound biblical teaching from our own team and from outside speakers.

Home Groups and prayer meetings

For adults we provide weekly home groups for worship, bible study, prayer and fellowship (now on zoom - for details contact – [email protected]). The Ladies groups meet once a week on a Tuesday and once a month on a Saturday but these are temporarily suspended at present, As is our men’s breakfast which is usually once a month consisting of an entertaining quiz, a full English (alternatives available) followed by an engrossing talk by a Christian guest speaker.

On Sunday evening at 7.00 pm we hold our Prayer Meeting on Zoom. This is an opportunity for more word and worship and most importantly, in depth prayer and ministry (for details contact – [email protected]).

Children and Youth

Our weekly Sunday School, “Kings Kids” is back, and our once-a-month Mini Messy Church and once-a-term Messy Church have also returned.

We look forward to the return of “Messy Tots” this Autumn and the return of “The Hub” next year.
