Child Protection

teddybear.

Child Protection and Safety receives the highest priority at King's Church. We endeavour as far as is humanly possible to keep every child in our care safe from harm.

We follow the Baptist Union's 'Safe To Grow' guidelines and have an agreed child protection policy reviewed annually. Our children's and young people's workers and volunteers are given Criminal Record Bureau Enhanced Checks. We have two Child Advocates/Responsible Persons available to the children and their parents/carers.

Crèche

Lots of toys and drawing materials in a happy, well supervised, sociable environment for the under 5's. Mums are welcome to stay or to collect their children after the service. Through craft activities, little ones are gradually introduced to the more structured learning environment of the Kids group.

Kids Group

A mixture of Bible based games, puzzles, teaching stories and crafts for Primary school aged children. Introducing and explaining the Christian faith in a way that is meaningful as well as fun.

Youth Group

A cool place to be if you're a Secondary school student. Our College students like it so much they come along too. Discovering how relevant Christianity is for today through the Bible, discussion, drama, prayer and some crazy games.
