Fellowship Groups

Kings Church Fellowship Groups meet on a weekly basis in people’s homes in various places within the Quantock Area. Kings Church has a vision for small groups growing in homes in villages and hamlets throughout Quantock Vale.

The Fellowship Groups are based on the Cell Church model and incorporate four facets: Welcome – an icebreaker activity or question to involve all in the group; Worship – an opportunity to give thanks and praise to God together; Word – studying the Word and discussing its application to our lives; Witness/Work – focusing on those who don’t know Jesus and/or those who have other needs.

The Fellowship Groups are built around 7 core values:

  1. Jesus in the middle – we believe He is with us every time we meet.
  2. Every member in ministry – we encourage the use of all the gifts God has given us, natural and spiritual.
  3. Every member growing – in knowledge and maturity, in depth and love of God.
  4. Multiplication – we long to see more people come to know who Jesus is and what He has done for them.
  5. Sacrificial Love – we are learning to love each other as Jesus loves us.
  6. Honesty – we want to create a place where we feel secure to share who we really are, the struggles we have and the difficulties we experience.
  7. Community – we look to support one another in times of grief and of joy
