The Fire Brigade, St.John's Ambulance and the Police Community Bus were there, as was Postman Pat in his van (with his cat!), the village stocks, white elephant, pets corner, prayer tent and the art exhibition. C Clarke won the Wii tournament, G Jackson won the Smarties, M. Larcombe won the Treasure Trove and D Dacey won the Photo Competition. 10th Anniversary - (Date: 01/09/2007)

10th Anniversary Cake kindly created by Jackie.BETHEL Church held a service of thanksgiving on its 10th anniversary for the many blessings it has received. These blessings have enabled the church to thrive and grow in number and maturity despite all the difficulties and obstacles it has faced. Loving local churches gave support at the beginning and continue to do so.

Thanks were given for the wonderful times of worship and fantastic fellowship times which have brought the church together in love. Thanks were expressed for the splendid speakers who bring the "Good News" and God's Word in a real and relevant way. Thanks were given to the team who, each and every week provide a safe and secure environment for the development of the children and youth.

Because of growth in numbers Bethel has had to move out of its old building and into the Village Hall. Thanks to God who took Bethel out of its comfort zone and placed it at the heart of the community. Now established and trusted, Bethel looks forward to the challenges ahead, expressing God's love and purposes in new and fresh ways.
